Shield Agents and Agent Carter Inch a little closer to the canonization of MCU
Before Disney+ launched in November 2019, fans of Marvel had two destinations on the small screen: Netflix, Home to Daredevil., Luke Cage., Jessica Jones., The iron fist., Penaltyand crossover Defenders; and ABC that was broadcasting Shield agents (The seven -season jungleout), Carter Agentand InhumanS The shows were held more or less at the same time as Marvel’s Phase 2 and Phase 3 films, but there was not much overlap between large and small screen project ShieldAgent Culson and Carter AgentPeggy Carter. Over time, fans often wonder: the things that happened to these ABC shows part of MCU Canon or not?
With Disney+’s Daredevil: Born again Return of Charlie Cox and his Netflix co-stars for a new Matt Murdoch-Coxias Series Repression of Cox She-Hulk: Lawyer by law– The question is back. In an interview with ScreenMarvel Television’s Brad Windbaum was asked about the condition of Canon in two ABC series: Shield and Carter AgentS (Honestly, for the best, No one still thinks Inhuman.)
“It’s exciting for me to think about how to release these ABC shows with the canon,” he said. “This is for me, if you know me and the way my brain works, it’s a fun territory to imagine.”
Canon McU is, of course, a spreading collection of superheroes, supersonic, rotations and sequels; He already has 30 films and a dozen television series, plus specials and many more are on the way. With that in mind, was it really too much effort to add to events that have become several more television shows, especially such fans lovers? Or is it better to simply divide the adventures of Cullson and Carter, to enjoy what they were, and not to try to tie them in the ever-growing bigger picture?
Whatever happens in the end, at least Marvel is holding on to its story in an easily accessible way: all Netflix and ABC shows (yes, even Inhuman) stream on Disney+.
