Fox News reporter Marianna Rafferty has the latest developments regarding the explosion near the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas in a special report.
New photos of the Cybertruck that fatally exploded Wednesday morning have been released bombing in las vegas at the Trump International Hotel, which is under investigation.
Las Vegas police said the Cybertruck had fuel canisters and large firecrackers in the futuristic-looking pickup truck when it exploded 15 to 20 seconds after it pulled up to the hotel’s valet area, killing one person g, 7 – injured.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk In a post after the incident, X said the company’s senior team was investigating the matter, and later said an investigation found that explosive devices, not a problem with the vehicle, caused the explosion.
“We have now confirmed that the explosion was caused by a very large firework and/or bomb that was being transported in the bed of the rented Cybertruck and was not connected to the vehicle itself,” Musk wrote. “At the time of the explosion, all telemetry of the car was positive.”

Law enforcement officials who spoke to the AP identified Matthew Leavelsberger as the man who was in the Cybertruck and died in the explosion.
A US Army spokesperson told Fox News that Leavelsberger was acting sergeant who was on leave from Germany, where he was serving with the 10th Special Forces.

The Denver office of the FBI conducted a search operation in Colorado Springs on Thursday in connection with the explosion investigation.
“The FBI Denver, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Denver Field Unit and the Colorado Springs Police Department are conducting law enforcement at the residence. Colorado Springs“, the FBI Denver office announced.
“FBI Denver personnel and specialized teams will be on the scene for several hours. This operation is related to the explosion in Las Vegas on Wednesday. Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, no further information will be released from Denver.”

Both the Cybertruck used in the Las Vegas bombing and the pickup truck used in the New Orleans terror attack were rented through the car-sharing app Turo, the company said, adding that it did not believe either of the renters had criminal records as a security threat.
“We are heartbroken by the violence in New Orleans and Las Vegas, and our prayers are with the victims and families,” the spokesperson said are experienced former law enforcement professionals.”
The FBI said at a press conference on Thursday that at this stage of the investigation, there is no apparent connection between the New Orleans terror attack and the Las Vegas bombing.
