SCUF Valor Pro Review: Almost at Premium level for $ 100
There are controllers that you can get for $ 60-dollars, hassle-free Xbox and PS5 devices-or performance controllers that cost $ 200. SCUF is known as a company that makes the latter. They make high -end devices for players who want to imagine they will go professionally. But what about a $ 100 controller like the new SCUF Pro value? Is there a market for people who just want a little more than their controller, even if it is cable?
Valor Pro feels premium, not premium. The sticks with the effect of the hall with their replaceable covers are frugal in the right way. This is the first time the SCUF has tried the effect of a living room and although it does not have the same feeling as traditional sticks, they should avoid over time. The triggers with their instant switch have a definitive depth, and the rear paddles feel formed to put your middle finger between (the internal paddles are also interchangeable).

Everything is very SCUF and if you have used one of the company controllers before, you will feel at home here. The only problem is that this controller is only connected to cable. There are only so many ways to make a high-end controller cheaper, and removing battery and Bluetooth connectivity is one way to do it.
Most people who want to replace their controller will look for the cheapest option. I still use Scuf predict for my PC Gaming AdventuresDespite how much annoying ICUE software is to rearrange controls. I prefer PlayStation -style controls, so I will naturally gravish to the design of DualSense. Still, there is something to say about this classic Xbox feeling that has become so classic since the Xbox 360 days. I played through several matches in Marvel rivals With Valor Pro and without correcting any profiles, repairing buttons or adjusting the sensitivity of the sticks, I have already hit some accurate photos (there is some help for AIM, yes, but it is not almost as intense as the console version of Marvel rivals) S
I have a big problem with the controller: D-PAD. It feels small and, unlike the traditional $ 60 wireless controller, the ridges in the direction do not go all the way to the edge. It is also nice to click, just like the rest of the controller, but it also felt rude to the thumb. I cannot imagine many fans of the combat game who enjoy the development of calus that develop on their thumb over a long session.
So, with a few extras such as audio control dials for your headphones, connected to 3.5 mm jack, there is nothing to say. SCUF promises that the future update will allow 1KHz to be for polling rates for PC joys, but only the most savage gamer can say the difference. And if you are a professional gamer or someone who thinks it is a “professional” level that can shout most strongly to your teammates at Call of Duty: Warzone, you would inevitably consider getting a more expensive higher-end controller, Either way, right?
The price is really what the discussion relies on. Valor Pro costs as much as the Razer Wolverine V3, a fellow cable Xbox controller (although there is a wireless version, Wolverine V3 Pro, for a huge $ 200) with a similar plastic sensation and squat body. This was one of our Favorite controllers from last year. SCUF Valor Pro, for comparison, feels just like a typical Xbox controller and this is an advantage for Xbox supports. There may be not all bells and whistles, such as the double stunning asses of the Xbox Elite Series controller.
The additional advantage of the design of valor is that you can replace the front front plate with several unique colors. You can’t create your color bridge as you can customize on Xbox, but first I will note that the version of the cherry color looks very nice, even better than the translucent “smoke” plastic on my view device.

Only when scuf sent me Valor Pro for review, I found out how close these controllers look like the Pro instinct of $ 220. I have experience with these controllers through a special connection to Xbox and Netflix for Squid Game Season 2. Instinct Pro controllers also include super -sticks and clicks Adaptive activations, but there is a different difference in how each controller feels. The RB and LB buttons in the instinct have a closer sound than Valor Pro. The stalls of the non-low effect of the instinct have a gentler movement towards valor, and the D-PAD is particularly better designed and allows you to easily hit the diagonals.
The other difference is that the outer rear paddles require more effort on the valiant value than the instinct. It comes down to personal preference, but. Essentially, Valor Pro is an instinct Pro. This in itself is not bad. I wouldn’t have an eye on if the scuf told me that the controller was just an instinct only for a rods with the Hall effects.
Still, for the average gamer, the difference is not so great that you could pick up Valor Pro and not take the difference between it and your base value of $ 70 by default Xbox. There is a lot of a gamer that just wants a little more Oomph than a controller than what you take out of the box. SCUF seems to think so, but I’m not sure yet. Because you can understand the difference between Valor Pro, Instinct Pro or Envision Pro. For the SCUF loan, the difference between his smaller and more expensive controller is a minute. For a gamer who wants to go “professional”, Valor Pro is like training wheels for many controllers costing $ 150 or more.
Everyone else can feel safe to stick to the default controllers for less.
