Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains and sectors propelled shares higher.

Saudi Arabia rose 0.34% at the close.

The best performers of the session were on the topic Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:) which rose 9.54% or 1.74 points to trade at 19.98 points at the close. National insurance The Company (TADAWUL:) added 6.04% or 1.48 points to 14.22 before Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (TADAWUL:) was up 5.65% or 0.76 points to 14.22.

They were the worst performers of the session Naifat Finance Co (TADAWUL: ), which declined 3.75% or 0.58 points to trade at 14.88 at the close. Riyad REIT (TADAWUL:) declined 2.79% or 0.19 points to end at 6.61 while AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (TADAWUL:) declined 2.31% or 0.90 point to 38.10.

On the Saudi Stock Exchange, advancers outnumbered decliners by 176 to 116, while 33 were flat.

February crude futures were down 0.19%, or 0.14, at $71.72 a barrel.Elsewhere, Brent crude futures were up 1.16%, or 0.85, in March. to $74.42 a barrel, while February gold futures fell up 0.00% or 0.05 to $2,639.30 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR fell 0.16% to 3.91 and USD/SAR was unchanged 0.04% to 3.76.

US dollar index futures increased by 0.32% and made 108.28 points.
