Amandine, who stood 5’1″ and weighed just 62 pounds, died on August 6, 2020, after enduring severe abuse. The teenager died in the village of Montblanc, located southwest of Montpellier.
Medical reports showed that Amandine had a swollen face, missing teeth, infected wounds and hair loss when she passed. Authorities also found that Amandine had been locked in a pantry for weeks, deprived of food, leading to severe weight and muscle loss, and eventually septicemia, PER Subway.
