I’m the first to admit that I’m pretty clumsy, so I always buy extra protection for my devices. However, I’m still always shocked at the cost of repairing any inevitable water damage or cracked screen I carry. So it’s good to see it Samsung Care+ with theft and loss updated its plan to include $0 same-day repairs for cracked screens and rear glass. Samsung’s most expensive protection plan also includes unlimited repairs on allowed placesso you don’t have to worry if it breaks again.

Before, same-day repairs were $29 each. Customers on the Care+ plan (the next level down) have to pay $29 for a cracked screen repair and $99 for a rear glass repair.

However, even with the update, these “free” fixes don’t come cheap. The price of all Samsung Care+ plans varies by device, with each product divided into tiers. For example Galaxy S23 or S24 Ultra it’s currently in Level 4 and will cost $18 per month or $349 for two years of Samsung Care+ with theft and loss. While the Galaxy A15 is in Tier 1 and will cost $8 per month or $129 for two years with the same plan.

Samsung Care+ with theft and loss is only available for phones, tablets and watches – though watches will still cost $29 for repair or replacement.
