Samsung adds Google to Google to his home robot Ballie
Samsung said on Wednesday that he adds Google’s Gemini AI to his Bali’s home robot by partnership with Google Cloud. Users will be able to ask the robot different requests to receive answers from twins, the companies said.
Samsung aims to get involved in Gemini’s multimodal capabilities for its robot. The Korean technology giant said it would pair its AI with Google’s to enable audio and video entrances to Ballie to answer various questions. For example, you will be able to ask a bot, “How do I look?” And it will make suggestions for clothing using its camera and visual intelligence.
Bali will also be able to use twins to make health-related recommendations-for example, suggestions for exercise and ways to improve sleep. Beyond this you will be able to ask the robot a number of common knowledge requests.
“Through this partnership, Samsung and Google Cloud redefine the role of AI in the home,” said Yongjae Kim, EVP from Samsung’s visual business. “By pairing the powerful multimodal reflections of twins with the capabilities of Samsung AI in Ballie, we use the power of open cooperation to unlock a new era of a personalized AI satellite – the one that moves with the users.
Samsung has been showing different versions of Ballie for commercial exhibitions for years. Earlier in 2025, the company stated that the robot would finally reach consumers in South Korea and the United States in the first half of this yearS
Samsung already partnered with Google to integrate twins with their Galaxy smartphones, starting from Galaxy S24S Samsung and Google are reported on the XR deviceAnd the twins may be central to this experience.
