Sam Nujoma: Namibia’s first president died at the age of 95

Independent Namibia’s first president Sam Nujoma died at the age of 95 in the capital Windhoek and announced the country’s current leader.

Nujoma caused a long struggle for independence from South Africa after finding the liberation movement of Namibia’s Freedom Movement, known as the Freedom Movement of Namibia, which is known as the South Western Nations (SWAPO) in the 1960s.

After independence, Nujoma became President in 1990 and headed the country until 2005.

Nujoma was hospitalized with a disease announcing death with Namibian President Nangolo Mbumba, a disease of Nagibia Nangolo Mbumba, who has a disease that could not restore during the last three weeks.
