Rosie O’Donnell is recognized in a shocking “love” connection with Lala Menendes
In a new interview, a 63-year-old comedian and a former leading talk show showed that the Menende-first “direct man” she ever “loved” and “trusted”.
According to Rosi O’Donen, their relationship has developed through regular phone calls and letters over the years.

Rosie O’Donnell reveals emotional connection with Lale Menendes

“He started calling me regularly from the tablet,” she shared The New York Times. “He will tell me about his life, what he did in prison, and, for the first time in my life, I felt safe enough to trust and be vulnerable and love a direct man.”
Lail was convicted with his younger brother Eric for the killings of their parents in 1989 Jose and Kitty Menendez. Both were sentenced to life imprisonment without parole, although they now seek to give them immediate right to parole.

O’Donnel’s opening comes in the main time for the Meendessa brothers who have served over 35 years behind bars. As reported NBC NEWSOn Friday, the South California judge gave a green light for a legal review that may lead to new proposals. The Judge of the Supreme Court of the Los -Angeles District Michael Jessic refused to petition with the district prosecutor’s office requesting to cancel the preliminary recommendation for reducing the lifetime of the brothers without parole to 50 years of life.
With hearings scheduled for April 17 and 18, the result can immediately be made by both Lale and Eric.

Rosie O’Donnell is re -connected to Lale Meendees after decades

O’Donela’s connection with Lale dates back to 1996 when she expressed her support for her brothers while appearing on “Larry King Live”. At the time, she expressed her belief in her statements that the killings had been committed in self -defense after the years of alleged abuse.
Soon Lale sent her a letter, thanking her for being left for them, although she did not answer initially, the decision was introduced into her own injury. O’Donnell revealed that “she and her siblings were bullying her father,” and said Lale felt that “she” knew “from a personal place that what he was saying was true.”
“At this point I didn’t dare anywhere near this family or therapy,” she said Term.

And only in 2022, after she watched a documentary on the case of Meendez and discussed it on the tiktok, did they restore. It is reported that Laila’s wife, Rebecca AIDS, stretched to find out if O’Donnell would be interested in talking to him again.
Their first telephone conversation lasted three hours. Since then, they have supported close friendship through regular correspondence, and O’Donnell even visited him in prison.

Menendez’s brothers are convicted of murder

The Meendess brothers were convicted of the first degree after two separate lawsuits in the 1990s. They claimed that the murders were linked to many years of abuse, saying that Lale had encountered his father, the entertainment performer, and he threatened him with a brutal treatment of Eric. According to Lila, the father’s reaction felt threatening.
Prosecutors have long been dismissed by abuse, claiming that the murders were calculated in action caused by financial benefits.
La Naathan Hochman, prosecutor of the district, said the evidence, photocopy without a dated letter, which Eric claimed that he sent his cousin in December 1988, does not correspond to the legal threshold necessary to give a new lawsuit.
Menendez’s brothers are looking for release
The submitted hearing of the Meendessa brothers will move forward after Judge Los -Andgeles denied the Los -Andgeles district prosecutor Nathan Hochman to recall the brothers’ motion.

In February, NEWSOM ordered the state parole to make a “risk assessment” to determine whether the brothers would represent a significant threat to public safety. The results are expected until June.
In addition to their fair efforts, the brothers held two additional avenues for release: a pardon request, provided by California Governor Govin News, and a petition petition.
