Authorities in Ventura County, California shared the results of a weekend operation “Robbery with the Police” led to the seizure of drugs and the arrest of 37 suspects, including several juveniles.

The task force conducted a holiday “blitz” at Pacific View Mall in Ventura last Friday and Saturday.
“This effort highlights the significant shoplifting problems that affect not only the mall, but businesses throughout the county,” the Sheriff’s Department said.
The operation was a joint task force effort with members of the Sheriff’s West County Special Enforcement Unit, the District Attorney’s Bureau of Investigation, as well as members of the Loss Prevention and Asset Protection teams from Target, JCPenney, Macy’s and Allied Security. .
