RHOP’s Karen Huger Told Police She Was ‘Thomas Jefferson’s Concubine’

After her trial in Rockville, Md., prosecutors released Huger’s police records from the night of the crash, which were shared by the Fox 5 DC host Marrakesh Marina through X.
On the recordings of the police video camera from the night of March 19, Huger can be seen sits in the passenger seat of a police car and tells the officer that she is known as “The Grand Dame” – a reference to her nickname on RHOP — and that “Andy Cohen did it.” She continues, “I don’t know what this is about.”
After being taken to the local police station, the police body camera personnel then reveals that Huger seems to disagree with the policeman and at one point refers to herself as “Thomas Jefferson’s concubine”.
Huger was charged with careless driving, failure to control speed to avoid a collision and failure to notify authorities of a change of address in court Wednesday, for Fox 5 DC. (Us Weekly (has reached out to Bravo for comment on the verdict.)
“While we are disappointed with the jury’s verdict, we certainly respect their decision and appreciate their time in considering our case,” Huger’s attorney said. A. We appreciate your support and prayers for Mrs. Huger and her family at this time.”

Charles Sykes/BravoIn March, Huger was involved in a car accident in Potomac, Maryland. Montgomery County Police said TMZ at the time Huger was driving her 2017 Maserati in an “aggressive manner” on Potomac when she struck a crosswalk sign and a parking sign.
She was not arrested, but received several reports from the police at the time. She was later charged with DUI and DWI.
During the trial, a police body camera video showed the officer telling her that she had been “hit with a hammer” as she appeared to slur her words. Fox 5 DC. Numerous witnesses testified during the trial, including an EMS paramedic who claimed Huger refused treatment at the scene of the accident and was “wobbly” when she tried to get into an ambulance.
Huger said she was dealing with emotional distress at the time of the accident.

I received reports, one of which was unrelated to the incident, which is understandable, but the strangest thing is that the car that almost hit me just drove off!”
She concluded: “I would like to emphasize the importance of being aware of your emotional state while driving and let this be a reminder to everyone to wear seat belts, my mother may be my guardian angel but my seat belt saved my life.”
Huger is expected to be sentenced on January 29, 2025.
