Reality show stars who evacuated Los Angeles amid wildfires

Many reality TV personalities evacuated Los Angeles ongoing forest fires which began at Pacific Palisades on Tuesday, January 7th.
“My heart goes out to those affected by the fires here in Los Angeles County,” the former Bachelorette Kathy Thurston wrote via Instagram Story on Wednesday, January 8th. “Waking up this morning and seeing all the updates breaks my heart. I couldn’t sleep this morning hearing the constant ambulances and the high winds and realizing that there was devastation just 10 miles away.”
She captioned the next post, “This is bloody scary.”
A few hours later, Thurston, 34, packed his bag and waited to find out if it was groom Jeff Arcuri evacuation is required. The couple from New York were in town for one of Arcura’s comedy shows and ended up leaving the house later Wednesday night.

Gabby Windy

The Traitors season 3 star and her girlfriend, Robbie Hoffmanleft early Wednesday morning.
“We evacuated at 4am due to heavy smoke and no power,” Windy, 34, wrote in her Instagram story. “I feel incredibly blessed that we have a place to go and pray (for) everyone who has lost their homes, firefighters, medical personnel and patients.”

The Sunset for sale The 43-year-old star said late Wednesday night that there was an “immediate evacuation” in her area.
“I, G (coup) and Gracie are safe and out of the house,” Stause wrote in her Instagram story, referring to her husband and their pet dog.
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt

The Hills alums lost the home they shared with young sons Gunner and Riker to flames after they had already left the Los Angeles city limits.
“The craziest thing about packing for a fire is that your brain just goes crazy,” Montag, 38, said Wednesday in a TikTok video. “It’s so hard to put together a house. I only have two pairs of jeans and two shirts. I got a lot more clothes for the kids. I say, “Why didn’t I grab more?” Fortunately, I grabbed something, and that’s such a blessing, and the main thing is that we’re safe.”
Pratt’s parents also learned their home was destroyed by the devastating fires they watched on security footage after their own evacuation.

According to Thurston’s Instagram story, she and her fiance were staying in San Diego “for a few days.” One of the items Thurston packed was ashes her beloved dead catTommy.
Julianne Hough

The Dancing with the stars The 36-year-old host announced via her Instagram stories late Wednesday night that the fire had broken out broke out “right near (her) house.” She and her dog Soneyka got into the car and drove out of town.
“The reason I say evacuate now, even if it’s not close to you, if you have somewhere to go, is because there’s traffic and you’re going to be stuck in traffic,” Hugh explained in the video. “It’s not good. So everyone, please stay safe and send prayers to all first responders and firefighters.”

St. John shared on Thursday, January 8 that she lost her home in the Los Angeles wildfires.
“This is the house I wanted. The house I prayed for. The house I worked blood, sweat and tears for. The house where I put a keypad instead of a keyhole in the front door because I wanted all my family and friends to have the code and use the house whenever they wanted,” she wrote via Instagram. “This is the house I found peace in after fighting racist neighbors and a community that forced me to buy it in a trust in a trust so no one would know that that widowed, single black woman with a teenager bought exclusively on a… preserved beach “.
Along with his message, St. John shared a series of images and clips from home.
“That was my EFF YOU I’m home here. The house I built a movie theater in dedicated to my sister so she could watch her movies in her sanctuary,” she wrote. “This is the house where I finally felt like I could choose the time… when I want and how I want.”
She continued: “He’s gone. This is an unimaginable loss. I grieve with the rest of Los Angeles as it burns… and though I have even found the words to write here, at this moment I can’t say anything to describe the feeling. I am asking for your prayers for Lael and me. God bless you.”
