Prominent Investor Buys NVDA, Citing Extremely Strong Demand for GPUs

Recently known investor Brad Gersts told CNBC she bought NVIDIA (NVDA) fund. As the reasons for the decision, Gerstner has cited GPU’s chips and President Donald Trump to release restrictions from semiconductors.

Gerstner Reasoning to Buy NVDA

“The demand for GPUS is out of the charts,” the investor said. “We listen to Google (Goog), Tesla (Tsla) and others,” he added.

Noting that Trump released chips tariffs, Gerstner suggested that semiconductors are likely to continue to pass the transfer of the upcoming tariffs.

“If we charge tariffs on the chips we designed, and that we are bought” Mets American companies, including Meta (Meta) and Microsoft, “we said. He explained that such a step would hinder America’s ability to “beat AI race”.
