Private sector adds just 77K jobs in February, well below expectations, ADP says

Companies in the private sector just increased 77,000 jobs in February, The ADP salary processing company said on Wednesday.

The chart is the lowest since the beginning of July, it is better to read 140,000 jobs from economists and more than the previous month above 186,000. The annual payment was 4.7%, the same as the previous month, ADP said.

“Uncertainty and the slowing down of consumer expenditures can lead to the employment or slowdown of last month,” said Nelya Richardson. “Our data, combined with the latest recent indicators, suggest a hiring fee among employers, as they appreciate the upcoming economic climate.”

Relaxation and hospitality have increased 41,000 positions, Leading Job Cleaning in February. Professional and business services have increased 27,000 jobs, while financial activities and construction contributed to 26,000. Accordingly, 18,000 and 17,000 jobs, respectively, added other services.

In February, 33,000 jobs from the negative side, trade, transport and utilities lost Education and health services decreased 28,000 and information services that lost 14,000. Natural resources and mining work decreased by 2,000.

Large businesses with those with 500 or more employees, added 37,000 jobs of the month. Business from 50 to 499 hired 46,000 employees. Institutions with less than 50 employees lost 12,000 jobs.

ADP data is issued in front of a non-Firfarm salary report on Friday morning and may be particularly different. The government’s data is expected to show 160,000 positions, over the January 143,000 reported in January.
