Princess Love talks about a previous affair with Floyd Mayweather

On Tuesday, January 21, Carlos King released an exclusive interview with Love via YouTube. About 14 minutes into the sit-down, Love considered entering the entertainment industry through an affair with Mayweather.

She further explained that their relationship started out platonic but eventually turned into an affair.

“The Floyd that I know was the Floyd that didn’t have access to all this crazy stuff — like, I got to know Floyd when he was at his most vulnerable,” Love explained. “…That’s the Floyd I fell in love with, but when he got out (of prison) I met the real Floyd.”

At the time, Love explained that the friendship between her and Mayweather was strong, and he provided for her financially more than anyone to date.

“He did a lot for me,” she said. “More than anyone has ever done…he bought me a brand new car, he bought me an apartment…”

Despite this, Love said she began to notice that many women had access to Mayweather or were in his circle. Eventually, Love became uncomfortable, “and then the truth came out.”

“I can have as many women as I can afford,” Love recalled Mayweather allegedly telling her. “And he didn’t lie about it, so I couldn’t do anything but respect that.”

After all, Love explained that at that point in her life, she wanted to start a family. However, Mayweather didn’t want to settle down like that. Eventually, she became unhappy with their romance and around the same time met Ray Jay, who seemed to be on the same page as her.

However, despite their split, Love explained that Mayweather is “one of the best people” she’s ever met.

How Shadow room previously reported, Love revealed that she and Ray J have decided to divorce — for the fourth time — in February 2024. In April of that year, Ray reportedly responded to her statement with a request to share legal and physical custody of the two children.

Then, earlier this month, Ray revealed that he and Love are now legally separated. He also shared that “sometimes” she wants to drop the case entirely. However, he would like to stay married, trans Shadow room.

Speaking to King, Love explained why she ended her affair with Ray and is sticking to her promise to get a divorce.

“I feel like this time is different than the others because this time I didn’t do it out of anger,” she said. “…I was at a point in my life where I was like, ‘All these dudes, they’re all lying (so) I might as well be with the father of my kids.’ But I say: no, I don’t deserve it. I deserve to be happy, and if I’m going to be happy, then so be it.”

After all, Love explained that she and Ray “live two completely different lifestyles” and compared their relationship to being “roommates” or an open marriage.
