Powerschool Data Violations affected 16,000 students in the UK

The US Powerschool Giant Powerschool has confirmed that 16,000 UK students have had personal and sensitive data stolen during a December 2024 data breach.

In a letter sent to affected persons outside the US and Canada observed by TechCrunch, Powerschool said access to data includes contact information, birth dates, limited medical data and “other related information”.

Kigbler told TechCrunch that “the information exposed to each individual varies in our client base.” Powerschool refused to name the UK schools affected by the incident.
