Pete Heget’s hypocrisy (if hypocrisy was still something)
The editor -in -chief of the Atlantic Ocean revealed on Monday that he was in a chat by a signal group with senior defense officials, as they discussed plans for strikes against Huti’s rebels in Yemen. Jeffrey Goldberg writes that he has been added wrong to the chat that includes Defense Minister Pete Heget, director of national intelligence Tulsi Gabard, and Vice President JD Vance, among others. And all of the pearls have been ignited by Republicans for years for the wiseness of the protection of classified data really calls the hollow right now.
Whatever you think about Hillary Clinton and the decisions she made in her campaign for President against Trump in 2016, it really looks like her moment to shine. Clinton shared the story of the Atlantic Ocean on Monday with the words “You must be kidding me.”

Trump was asked about the violation during Press conference On Monday, he insisted that he was hearing about it for the first time.
Trump asked about his cabinet officials, including Jeffrey Goldberg, in the exchange of a secret war signal:
“I don’t know anything about it. I’m not a big Atlantic fan. For me, it’s a magazine coming out of business. It’s not a lot of the magazine, but I don’t know anything about it.”

Republicans behaved like Clinton’s email server was the most important in the world in 2016, including Marco RubioThe man who is now the Secretary of State of Donald Trump.

Heget itself was extremely difficult to process Clinton for classified data in 2016.
“Obviously, the standard operating procedure at Clinton Secretary -General was to send emails that could otherwise not be printed on the maid to print them from a secure area or from a secure area and then hand them over,” Heget told Fox News before the 2016 election.
“Any security professional, the military, the government or otherwise will be fired on the spot for this type of behavior and criminally persecuted for being so reckless with this type of information,” Heget continued. “The fact that it will not be responsible for this, I think it explodes the mind of anyone who has kept the secrets of our nation, dear, who has had a top secret clearance like me, and others who know that even a hiccup creates a problem, let alone a standard procedure.”
What do you think@petehegseth_dodHe thinks it should happen to people who do not defend our military secrets? To listen, will: pic.twitter.com/tjujqykqje

Even the selected Democrats joined the fun, ridiculed previous statements of some members of the group chat like Tulsi Gabard. Senator Tina Smith of Minnesota Share a screenshot Gabard from less than two weeks ago.
Unfortunately, hypocrisy doesn’t really look much during the Trump era. It is a strange place to be for those of us, adult enough to remember at the end of the 20th and early 21st century politics. Hypocrisy was something that could sink your political career. A Republican who hires a homeless maid? Devastating In 2010, the whole Daily Show assumption in the first decade of this century was “the look that these politicians were hypocritical.”
But these times have long gone. And it doesn’t matter if Trump or anyone else in his government does not adhere to the standards they have set after years. All that matters is the exercise of power. And with that we will live as long as Trump and his chases to rule this country.
