‘Paying taxes to fund freebies, senseless Yojanas’: Frustrated taxpayer rants about middle-class struggles over rising costs
The resigned taxpayer has tweeted his frustration on the tax burden on the tax burden of India and the return of medium-class investors. The post that details the individual’s struggle, despite the 4,52 lakhs of income tax in 200224-25, is resonated by many who feel heavy costs, indirect taxes and inadequate public services.

Goods and Services Tax (GST), in particular, children’s food (18%), purchases of insurance premiums and even second hand cars were the main point of dispute.
Outside of GST, the user expressed disappointment with bad infrastructure, highly medical expenses, despite insurance, and even the bribes are needed to enter government services. “It seems that I pay taxes to Freeloaders and meaningless Jojanas,” the user added, hinting at the government’s social welfare expenses.

Several users noted that before salary experts contribute to direct taxes, they receive less of subsidies or government.
