Patreon signs partnerships with a podcast with Sony and Wondery

PatreonOnline Creators’ Subscription Platform has signed partnerships with Sony Music Entertainment and Amazon’s Wondry, the company declared On Wednesday.

Patreon says partnerships are designed to turn the home for fans and exclusive bonuses for shows from the main podcated networks, as the company seems to be expanding beyond its current podcast base.

The deal means that Patreon will already offer some of the big names of the sub -crab industry on its platform. Adding bigger partners will allow Patreon to stand out among other platforms that also support podcasts. As for Sony and Wondery, their partnership allows them to bring their content to more people to expand the scope of their podcasts.

As a result of the partnerships, choose podcasts from Sony Music and Wonderry will be available to Patreon, including: “better with Jonathan van Ness”, “The rim lipstick” and “This is a Story” by Sony Music; and “Scamfluenters”, “Killer Psyche” and “Kurt Krömer – Feeling” by Wonderry.

Patreon said the podcasts on their platform earned over $ 472 million out of more than $ 6.7 million paid membership last year by piling up the only category of creativity with the highest profit on the platform.
