‘Paid ₹525 for this’: Customer regrets buying ‘bhutta’ at Virat Kohli’s restaurant, leaves netizens divided
Celebrity restaurants are quite the rage among foodies and social media users, not only because of the popularity of their owners, but also because of their outrageous prices.
A social media user recently complained about Virat Kohli’s One8 Commune for selling substandard food at extremely high prices. “Today in One8 Commune (sic) paid 525 rubles for it.
The social media post divided netizens, with some asking the user why he ordered the food, while others agreed with the user and said the starter looked really low-end considering the price point.
One of the users wrote: “Officially you are rich,” said the second user. “You knew this before you ordered so stop crying,” commented a third user.
“You paid for the ‘community’ that One8 has created 🙂 ~ the people around you, the music, the atmosphere… from the high rent, above average staff wages, etc. etc.,” the user explained.
“Looks like a 6th cod salad,” said the user. “Fancy bhutta (sic),” another user noted.
“Bhai ngl doesn’t look very tempting either,” commented another user. It was flawed. The price did not justify the product,” another user wrote.
Sneha wasn’t the only user to share her cake with One8 Commune, however, another user named Sumukh Rao slammed the restaurant for not letting her in because she was wearing sandals.
He also said the restaurant did not have a physical menu, while most of the food they ordered tasted similar to what was available in most pubs.
“The food is on par with most pubs. The hummus was literally jackfruit chips. Lol. The pizza was good too.” Had. Also at lower prices. They don’t have vegan options either.”
