Openai plans to integrate SORA’s video generator into Chatgpt

Openai intends to eventually integrate your AI video generation tool, SoraDirectly in its popular user chatbot app, Chatgpt, the company’s leaders said during a Discord time session on Friday.

Sahai said Openai actively works in a way to make Sora available within Chatgpt by marrying both products, although he refused to offer a timeline. The SORA version, which eventually comes to Chatgpt, may not offer the same level of control as SORA’s web application, Sahai said, where users can edit and sew footage together.

Openai may try to attract users to chat, leaving them to generate SORA videos from the chatbot. Putting SORA in Chatgpt could also encourage users to upgrade to premium subscription levels of Chatgpt, which may offer higher restrictions on video generation.

One of the reasons Openai started Sora as a separate web application was to maintain the simplicity of Chatgpt, Sahai explained during office hours.

Openai has been expanding the SORA web experience since its launch, creating more ways to consumers to view videos generated by Sora from the Community. Sahai also said Openai would like to build a self -made mobile app for SORA, noting that the SORA team is actively looking for mobile engineers.

Openai also aims to extend the opportunities for a generation of Sora to images.

Openai works on an AI image generator powered by Sora, Sahai said, confirming rumors of such a project. While Chatgpt already supports the generation of Openai’s Dall-E 3 images, the SORA image generator can potentially allow users to create photos that are more photorealistic.

Sahai added that Openai also works on a new version of Sora Turbo, the model currently powering the SORA web application.
