During his postgame remarks, Day reiterated his love for Howard and the entire Ohio State team.
“After everything that’s been said throughout the year, these guys will go down as one of the best stories in Ohio State history and one of the best football teams in history,” Day said. “There was a time when not many people had that vision, but these guys did and they saw it. Maybe Ohio State isn’t for everyone, but it’s for these guys.”
