Will Wordle run out of words?

When Wordle started, creator Josh Wardell uses a five -letter list of words he shared with his partner, choosing only the words they recognized. Although these are more than 2000 words, more than half of them have already been used.

Wordle Editor Tracy Bennett has admitted that the game will eventually have to deal with the fact that the word list is not eternal.

“One possibility is that at some point we could recycle old words, for example, when we are approaching the end,” Bennett told Tiktok Wordle Player.

She also said that editors can throw all the words back and use them again or allow the plural or past time, something that has not been done now.

Bennett did not comment on it, but it seems possible for Wordle to expand to six letters. The options are full.
