NYPD makes arrest in fatal stabbing of on-duty postal worker
The The NYPD charged A woman in the fatal stabbing of an on-duty USPS worker Thursday afternoon.
The woman, identified as 24-year-old Jaia Cruz, has been charged with second-degree murder stab and cut of the postal clerk on duty in the Harlem deli.
The victim, now identified as Ray Hodges, 36, was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

The attack allegedly started after an argument between two customers. according to the police.
The weapon was taken. But it is not defined.

The United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) said the postal worker was assigned to Manhattan and was working with the NYPD.

“USPIS considers the safety and well-being of Postal Service employees a top priority. We are working diligently with the New York City Police Department on this investigation,” the statement said.
