Nigeria’s defense chief reports human rights abuses and security | Boko Haram

For more than 15 years, the Nigerian armed forces have been fighting Boko Haram and groups affiliated with ISIS (ISIS), with millions of casualties and thousands of deaths. Despite government claims of “technical defeat,” insurgent attacks continue to raise critical questions about strategy and accountability.
