Nicole Kidman shares her mother’s profound last words

Nicole Kidman talks about the profound last words of his mother before her death.
The A girl the star mourned the death of her mother, Janelle Ann Kidmanin September, and remembered her last words during an interview on CBS Sunday Morning on Sunday, December 15.
“The last words my mom said, and I didn’t know they were going to be the last… I was going to get on a plane and go back to her. And she said, ‘Maybe wait a minute, because I think you just need to take care of yourself right now, Nicki,'” Kidman, 57, said. “So I do it more. And I say this to other people in the world, and especially women. I think we tend not to take care of ourselves.”
The Oscar winner said that after her grandmother’s death, her last words were: “Be happy.”
“And my mom said, ‘Take care,'” Kidman recalls.
Kidman said her mother’s last words are something she herself will cherish as a mother of four. (Kidman has daughter Isabella, 31, and son Connor, 29, with ex-husband Tom Cruise and teenage daughters Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 13, with husband Keith Urban.)
“Obviously, I’m an older mother, so I want to be around my girls for a long time,” Kidman said. “They are wonderful girls and I am lucky to have them. So taking care of myself is so I can take care of them.”
Kidman learned of her mother’s death in early September shortly after arriving at the Venice International Film Festival.
“Today I arrived in Venice to soon learn that my beautiful, brave mother, Janelle Ann Kidman, had just passed away,” Kidman said in a statement read on her behalf. A few days later, Kidman and her sister, Anthony, shared a joint message via Instagram, thanking friends and fans for their support during the loss.
“My sister and I, along with our family, want to thank you for the outpouring of love and kindness we have experienced this week,” the sisters wrote. “Every message we received from those who loved and admired our Mother meant more to us than we can ever express. Thank you to our entire family for respecting our privacy as we take care of each other .”

In October, Kidman admitted that she misses her mother very much.
“It was hard,” Nicole, 57, told The Hollywood Reporter on Lioness Season 2 premiere in Los Angeles. “Difficult road. I’m holding on.”
The actress said it was bittersweet to celebrate her career success without her mother to share it with.
“I wish my mom was here,” Nicole told the native. “That would be the only thing I would say. Everything is fine with work, but I would like my mother to be here.”
