Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak has been linked with a move away from the club in recent months.
The 25-year-old has established himself as one of the best strikers in the country and has been outstanding for Newcastle since joining the club.
Naturally, top clubs are keen to secure his services. According to a report from the telegraphNewcastle have now set an asking price of around £150m to ward off suitors. It will be interesting to see if any club are willing to pay £150m for the Sweden international.

Arsenal need someone like Isak
Arsenal have been mentioned as a potential destination for the player. The Gunners are keen to sign the Newcastle forward as they look to improve their attacking unit. Gabriel Jesus has not been able to score goals consistently and they need to bring in a quality striker to replace him. Bringing in a proven Premier League player like Isak could transform Arsenal in attack.
The Gunners have missed out on the league title in the last two seasons and will be hoping to go all the way this time around. They need top players like Isak to win major trophies.
The Sweden international could also be tempted to join a big club. He has shown his quality at Newcastle and may want to join a club where he can push for major trophies. It will be necessary to see how the situation evolves.
Newcastle have no interest in selling the striker and Isak doesn’t want to leave either. It will be interesting to see if clubs like Arsenal can convince the player and his club to go ahead with a move in the near future.
