NDA govt to borrow Rs 8 lakh crore in H1 FY26; Rs 10,000 crore of this to be raised from SGrBs
The Ministry of Finance stated this in the first half of the first half of the first half of 2025-26, revealing that the government will increase Rs 8 Lakh Crore, which is 54% of the annual loan of rubles.
The total loan loan of Rs 8.00 will be held through 26 auctions a week, and the securities are maturing for 3 to 50 years. To support stable environmental projects, part of this loan will be received by 10,000 RS Rs, will be purchased through sovereign green bonds (SGRBs).
Distribution of borrowing between different repayment (including sgrbs) is as follows:
3-year securities – 5.3%
5-year securities – 11.3%
7-year securities – 8.2%
10-year securities: 26.2%
15-year securities, 14.0%
30-year securities – 10.5%
40-year-old securities, 14.0%
50 years of securities – 10.5%
The government reserves the right to use the GREENSHOE option to provide additional subscription for each securities listed in the stock notifications.
In the first quarter of 2025-26 (Q1), the issuance of treasury bills is provided for a weekly borrowing, which should be 19000 Rs 19000 for T-Bill for 91-day T-Bill for 364-day T-Bill.
