Stylized Jeanne WilliamsWatts, 56, donned the role, championing a sense of strong femininity with her fashion.
Appearing on NBC todaythe actress wore a tweed dress with a bouclé collar from Emilia Wickstead’s Resort 2025 collection, which the designer said Vogue Runway in November 2024 was inspired by memories of her mother’s wardrobe, but with more modern shapes.

Watts leaned into the idea with Loewe Mary Jane pumps featuring a contemporary sculptural heel, oversized Balenciaga sunglasses, an Oscar de la Renta top-handle bag and a minimalist Bea Bongiasca gold ring.
Conversation with the host Savannah GuthrieWatts discussed breaking down the taboo topic of menopause. The actress said that she is 36 years old and just finished filming King Kong and was trying to start a family when she was told she was on the verge of menopause.
“It made me panic and I didn’t know what to do,” she shared. “I was very lonely, ashamed, like it was over, and that’s another reason why I wanted to write the book, because I want people to understand that it’s not the end. We still have a lot of life ahead of us and a lot to do.”
Watts’ wardrobe changes were also far from complete, as she subsequently purchased a second, identically feminine ensemble for appearances on Live with Kelly and Mark. This time she wore an off-the-shoulder dress by Shushu/Tong. During the segment, the co-host Kelly Ripa aptly described Watts’s honest yet humorous account of menopause, a “must read” for women everywhere.

Spotted in midtown Manhattan, Watts looked cozy in a Prada navy blue wool coat with gold buttons, a Prada matte leather mini bag and matching Prada pointed toe pumps. Dana Rebecca hoops with baguette diamonds completed the look.

By then, Watts had made it to the Union Square Barnes & Noble for a discussion with a reporter Laura Brownshe wore a sleek winter white look to match, consisting of silk wide-leg trousers and a cardigan, teamed with a double-breasted camel Celine coat that fell to her ankles.

She carried another Oscar de la Renta bag, the Ivy, which the luxury fashion house describes as a blend of sophistication and utility, complete with gold ‘O’ emblems that pay tribute to the graceful curves of the house’s logo. A fitting choice for Watts, a leading voice in menopause awareness whose book is as candid and informative as it is funny—a legendary achievement in itself.
