Motorola blows the RAZR line with three new models starting at only $ 700
RAZR is almost certainly the most loved flip phone of all time. But in 2025, Motorola expanded its iconic flexible telephone line to a total of three devices, starting at only $ 699, while bending even more into the state of the handset as a fashion symbol.

Starting at $ 1300, RAZR Ultra is the most expensive of the group and has the components to match. It is powered by an elite chip of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 with 16GB RAM and or 512GB or 1TB storage. He also has the most capable cameras. At RAZR Ultra, you get dual shooters with 50 MP, consisting of major and ultra -wide cameras, the latter also doubled as a macro lens. And for those who like to take long distance photos, it also supports a 2x optical increase.

It’s bright, it’s colorful and I have to say that the company has done a good job by reducing the appearance of a fold. Of course, if you look really difficult, you can see it or feel it with your fingers, but at this point it is much more than a minor nitpic than a legitimate horse.
Finally, as you would probably expect, Ultra is the most stylish, thanks to four unique lining, including the back of Alcantara, a wooden grain back panel inspired by satin processing and an artificial leather option.

As for the $ 1000 RAZR Plus, everything was removed, which includes a Snapdragon 8S Gen 3, 12GB RAM chip and 256 GB storage. Its battery is also smaller at 4000 mAh, while its main display OLED is contracted to slightly up to 6.9 inches with a resolution of 2640 x 1080 and 165Hz refresh speed. And while playing with double cameras with 50 MP, they are not as rich in characteristics, with the second shooter serving as a special lens to increase with a 2X phoot increase. Then there are performance features, remembering what can keep notes and photos (or those taken with the camera or existing photos) so that they can be more easily reminded of later. There is also a recording feature that can transcribe dialogue on the go (including automatic speaker labels) similar to the Pixel Recorder application, along with a few more.
This said that I admit that Motorola may feel forced to do so after competing with smartphone manufacturers such as Google, Apple, Samsung and others have developed a set of AI tools. But at the same time, none of these characteristics feels particularly new or nourished to be a point of sale alone. But I guess this is AI obsessed with. A world we live now.
However, with the main model, starting at only $ 700 and a total of three devices to choose from, I have to give Motorola a little credit to continue transferring the entry barrier to flexible screen phones. And between all different colors and textures, they are more fashionable in this.
In the US 2025 Motorola Razrs will be available for pre -order starting on May 7 with official sales for May 15.
