Micron He announced his first Memory Samples 1Y (1-gam) DDR5 this week and says it is part of his contribution to systems that keep up with AI processing.

The company said it was the first to be available on the market with 1Y samples MicronThe continuing technological and manufacturing leadership, and the Idaho-based company, expands the capabilities of this advanced knot to its wider portfolio of dynamic memory chips with arbitrary access (DRAM). They come in the second quarter.

Mobile World Congress smartphones in Barcelona have features powered by AI, such as visual search, translation and intelligent tools to deploy or delete objects of photos.

These innovations show how AI can turn smartphones into intuitive and contextual tools
This improves our daily routine when recharging with the right memory and storage.

Micron will try the 1Y LPDDR5X 16GB products to choose partners for use in 2026. Leading smartphones, which will allow a leading performance in the industry and up to 15% energy savings-critical as energy intensive uses, such as video-based and AI applications, make the battery life of the battery.

MWC Micron also announced mobile storage devices, including the world’s first G9 based UFS 4.1 and UFS 3.1 mobile storage solutions. The G9 process node allows significant improvements to the speed and efficiency of power, while allowing us to deliver MNAnd’s scales of 256GB to 1TB at the highest indicators in the industry.

These mobile storage solutions are now available in small and ultra thin forms of facts needed for thin and folding designs on smartphones.

Micron said IT partnered with OEM smartphone manufacturers of firmware engineering features, which solve their most pain points and allow for more head, more intuitive experiences for end users. Micron’s UFS 4.1 solution provides its own firmware features for leading smartphones, such as zoned UFS for reading/recording efficiency, data defrange for 60% faster reading speed, for 30% faster speed and intelligent speed speed.

Most recently, Micron has collaborated with Samsung on his Galaxy S25 set of smartphones. Those
Smartphones deliver breakthroughs in natural language processing and are designed with microne
Most power-efficient LPDDR5X and Advanced UFS 4.0 solutions. LPDDR5X enhances power
Efficiency by up to 10%.

Samsung’s Galaxy Ai Suite enhances users’ interactions with AI features as summons of call transcripts, messaging composition, creative tools, and a low -light optimized night line mode.

None of these options would be possible without sufficient internal storage to shelter the large amounts of data needed for such AI experiences on the device where our UFS 4.0 with high capacity appears. This storage solution allows them to be processed faster by doing so locally, not in the cloud, in addition, to ensure greater confidentiality and control of your data.

Micron noted that AI in our smartphones and computers is already beginning to predict our needs, manage our schedules and cure personalized content, improving our performance, creativity and connectivity
Beyond what we could imagine.

New AI innovations such as multimodal agents can now simultaneously interpret and produce insights from different types of text data, images – opening a whole new world of applications compared to previous AI agents that were limited to processing one type of data. Another innovation, federal training, allows AI models to learn from decentralized data sources while maintaining confidentiality. As these technologies ripen, they will allow smartphones to predict our habits and models to predict our next move and to offer suggestions to make life more rational.

As we move to an agent and multimodal AI, which autonomously thinks, plan and perform complex tasks, is crucial to a strong hardware base. In order to keep up with these growing needs of memory and storage, Micron is constantly optimizing our roadmap and collaborating with the ecosystem to manage and shape what is possible, from the strengthening of our mobile portfolio of our leading process to a change in the game for optimization of the performance of memory.

Memory and storage built into today’s smartphones play a major role in activating AI tasks
and storing the important data of users, safely and securely on their device. Key factors – such as high
frequency tape, low latency and power efficiency – are essential for working with AI load requirements
and delivery of an ultra-gland user experience.
