Mexico refuses US military flight deporting migrants, sources say By Reuters

Washington / Mexico City (Reuters) -Mexico refused to request President Donald Trump administration, allowing American military aircraft in the country, a US official and a Mexican official.

On Friday, US military planes have made two similar flights, each of which, Guatemala. The government failed to move forward with a plan to have C-17 transport planes in Mexico, however, after rejecting the country.

The US official and the Mexican official confirmed the decision, which was first reported by NBC News.

The Mexican Foreign Ministry said on Friday that the country had a “very big relations” with the United States and cooperated on such issues of immigration.

“When it comes to repatriations, we will always accept the arrival of Mexicans with open weapons,” the ministry said.

The Mexican official was not an occasion for the rejection of the land permit, and the Foreign Ministry did not specify the case.

At the beginning of this week, the Trump’s Administration announced that the program known as “stay in Mexico”, which forced to wait for Mexican asylum seekers until they were resolved.

On Wednesday, President of Mexico Claudia Shinbament said that such a step demands that the country received asylum seekers, and that Mexico was not the case.

The US State Department and the Pentagon have not immediately responded to the comments of the comment.

The US-Mexican relations have focused on sharp attention, as Trump began his second term on Monday with the declaration of national emergency along the common border of the two peoples. He has previously ordered 1,500 additional US troops there, and officials said they could sit up a lot soon.

The President stated at Mexican drug cartel terrorist organizations, to be renamed the Gulf of Mexico and threatened in February 25% of Mexican goods.

Sheinbaum sought to avoid aggravating the situation and expressed a revelation to Mexican citizens who are returned.

But the leader of the left also said that he did not agree with mass deportations, and that Mexican immigrants are vital to the US economy.

The use of the US military plane to carry out the deportation flights to the Extraordinary Declaration of Trump is part of the Trump’s Response.

Previously, US military planes have been used to move to another from one country to another, as in 2021 when leaving the US Afghanistan.

This is the first time that US military planes have been used to fly outside migrants, US official said.

The Pentagon said that the US Armed Forces will fly to more than 5,000 immigrants from the US authorities in Texas, Texas and San Diego, California.

Guatemala also received the third flight of about 80 deported migrants on Friday on Friday, the Guatemalian authorities told Reuters.
