Mexico asks Google maps not to rename the Gulf of Mexico

Mexican President Claudia Sheenbaum wrote a letter to Google asking to reconsider the decision to change the name of the Mexican Gulf.

US President Donald Trump, USA, Cuba and Mexico bordering a water body signed a decree – was named after the first week of America’s first week.

However, this will appear on Google maps, which is just a new name for people located in the United States – will keep the current name used in other parts of the world for hundreds of years.

There is no international organization for the name of water bodies.

However, Mexico cannot legally change the name of the US, as the UFF Convention on the Naval Law says that the sovereign country of the country has extended to 12 sea miles from the coastal line.

“(NAME) can only match 12 sea miles from the coastal streaks of the United States,” he said.

Google has not yet responded to the BBC’s desire.
