Meta’s Threads has grown to 300 million users
Meta’s Threads app has now grown to 300 million users, with more than 100 million people using the service every day. Mark Zuckerberg announced the new event in of Threads, saying “Threads’ strong momentum continues.”
Zuckerberg repeatedly that Threads has a “good chance” of becoming the company’s next app for billions of users. Although it is still a long way from that goal, its growth appears to be accelerating. The app reached 100 million users last fall and reached in early November. Elsewhere, Apple revealed that Threads is app in 2024, following the Temu shopping app that took the top spot on Apple’s chart.
The coming weeks could see some big changes for Threads as Meta looks to capitalize on this growth. The company reportedly has plans to start experimenting with the first thread ads in early 2025, according to c The information.
