Master P Gives Message of Hope to New Orleans After ‘Senseless’ Terror Attack: ‘We Will Win’

“We will not let this senseless act of terrorism stop us as a culture and who we are as a people. We will stand up together and fight back and show them that this is America and we will win,” said New Orleans entertainment ambassador Percy “Master P” Miller. “One Nation” Saturday. “When you talk about the city of New Orleans, we have resilience and we’re going to bounce back.”

“It’s definitely personal. That’s why we stand up and we’re not afraid. And we’re not. And our city will be stronger. But for those who lost their lives, we’re not. I’ll forget them,” Master P said.
There are more than 30 injured. Although the FBI previously investigated the possibility of accomplices in the attack, the bureau said it was confident that Jabbar acted alone.
The FBI recovered the black ISIS flag used in the attack from Jabbar’s rented pickup truck.

Since the early Wednesday morning incident, New Orleans has seen an outpouring of support from across the country.
President Biden and first lady Jill Biden will travel to New Orleans on Monday, where they will “grieve with families and community members affected by the tragic attack on January 1 and meet with officials on the ground,” according to the White House.
Master P expressed his gratitude to those who prayed for our city.
“We definitely want to show the people who lost their loved ones as a result of this tragedy, which should never have happened in our city, that the mayor and I walk the streets. Bourbon Street we didn’t and we’re going to get stronger and better,” he said.
