“Not only does it affect a person – it affects everyone around it,” she said, adding that in the previous year she “encountered some of the most terrible night of my life.”
“I say I call the police because I’m afraid my husband will die,” she continued. “For those who had a spouse or a family member who fought with addiction, you know what I mean when I say I don’t know who this person is. I felt that I had lost my husband.”
