Lynn Benn had emergency brain surgery after a skiing accident

Lin Ban suffered a severe head injury after a skiing accident on Christmas Eve.

“And in the blink of an eye … life can change,” Bling Empire: New York The 51-year-old star wrote via Instagram on Monday, December 30. “On Christmas Eve, on a beautiful sunny day in Aspen while on vacation with my family, I had a skiing accident that changed my life.”

It saved my life,” she wrote. “I was in a taxi with (partner) Jet (Cain), and within 30 minutes they said I had a brain hemorrhage and needed to be airlifted to a trauma hospital.”

According to Johns Hopkins Medicinea craniotomy procedure is the surgical removal of a section of bone from the skull to expose the brain.

In her post, Ban shared a slideshow of photos, which included a selfie from her hospital bed, which showed half her hair shaved off and a scar from surgery. In the next picture, the jewelry designer can be seen sleeping on a hospital bed while she is connected to several machines. Ban also posted photos of her on the mountain in ski gear, which included a helmet and goggles.

“There is a long road to recovery ahead of me, but I am a survivor and grateful to the Ski Patrol, an incredible team of doctors and nurses, and ❤️and support from my family and friends 🙏🏼,” she said. “GOD IS GOOD 🙏🏼Grateful and happy to welcome the new year 🎉🙌🏻.”

Castor Bana Dorothy Wang in the comments, he wished her a speedy recovery.

“Oh, Lynn, I’m shivering. So happy you’re okay and your incredible tribe by your side,” Wang, 36, replied. “Sending you all my love and wish you a speedy recovery.♥️”

Ban appeared on Bling Empire spinoff with Wang, Tina Leung, Blake Abbey and much more. The Netflix series premiered in 2023 and ran for one season. Both earlier this year Bling Empire and Bling Empire: New York, were canceled.
