Gage’s upcoming memoir, I Wrote It for Attention , is already making waves in the entertainment world with glowing endorsements from some of his famous friends and collaborators.

“This book is crude, provocative, chaotic, and—dare I say—stupid. “Wait, I’m sorry, I was describing Lucas Gage,” quipped “It Ends With Us” author Colleen Hoover. “The book, however, is all that and more. A must read for anyone who is a Lucas fan (or even someone who can’t stand him). Or if you’ve never heard of it—which, frankly, most of you are—just read it anyway.”

White Lotus creator Mike White also offered a tongue-in-cheek take on Gage’s debut memoir. “For a self-proclaimed pathological liar, Lucas Gage is brutally honest. And for an exhibitionist mayhem agent with borderline personality disorder, he’s pretty close. This insightful memoir will capture your attention with its humor and soulfulness.”

Actress Riley Keough praised the book’s combination of charm and unpredictability. “It’s as messy and touching as Lucas,” she wrote, while comedy legend Molly Shannon highlighted the emotional impact of Gage’s story. “Few books can make me laugh and cry, but this one did,” shared Shannon.

The memoir will officially hit bookshelves on Tuesday, October 14.
