Long ride on a beautiful morning – BionicOldGuy
Yesterday I headed south on country roads east of Morgan Hill through San Martin to Gilroy. I was in bed with electrical support. The wind was light so I was able to average just under 20 mph, an exciting brisk pace. That covered 27 miles in just over 90 minutes. Loved seeing our green hills from the recent rain.

We are lucky that our vegetation here in the north is not so dry. Our friends down south weren’t so lucky, it’s much drier and had strong Santa Ana winds bringing warm dry air that made the fires worse. I don’t personally know anyone who has lost their home, but we are thinking of those who have. Firefighters from there came down to help, just as SoCal firefighters have helped us in the past. We are all in this together.
