Pablo Lorraine/Netflix“Angelina never sang at all, she even initially avoided singing ‘Happy Birthday’ in the group, (which) felt like a challenge,” he said of Jolie’s journey, which included working together for more than two hours, several times a week on for seven months. “She is a force of nature in the best possible way and is completely committed to what she wants to achieve, so I had no doubts that she would be able to do it. She also had a great love for opera and a deep respect for Maria Kalas, and so I think that helped draw her into doing things right.”
