Latest Airbender creators returning to another series continued
Send the word to Firelord right away, the avatar is back! That’s right to mark the 20th anniversary of the premiere “Avatar: Last Aerropirator”, “Nickelodeon and Avatar Studios”, finally officially announced a brand new “animation series” from the original creators of “Last Air”.
“Avatar: The Last Aerropirator” remains one of the best and most influential American animated series of all time and peoples. This is a fantastic show with impeccable world construction, complex topics, strong characteristics and epic narrative – not to mention the series that Mark Hamil, who voiced Firelord Ozai, who once called “too smart” to be successful. Nevertheless, the show became a hit that lasts three seasons, and even received a series of sequel in the legend about Korar. Now as long as we wait Upcoming an animated movie “Last Aerobinder”, focusing on an adult Aang To arrive at the movie theater, we have the first details about the third show in Avatarverse.
Original creators Brian Kaniatko and Michael Dante Dimartin return to the new series called “Avatar: Seven Havens”, which will continue the cycle and return us to the Earth’s element with a brand new avatar. The new show has already been ordered for 26 episodes that will be divided into two seasons (or books) consisting of 13 half -hour episodes in each. The rumors and leaks concerning this series have been spreading for a while, and it seems that Scuttlebutt was mostly true. The upcoming show will actually take place in the post-apocalyptic world, where the avatar is regarded as “destroying humanity rather than its savior” in a press release issued by Nickelodeon.
The press release also includes a magazine for “Avatar: Seven Havens”. In this new show, young earth dry man finds that she is a new avatar after the death of Corrie, albeit in an environment that was destroyed by some destructive cataclysm. “Hunting for the enemies of man and spirit, she and her long -lost twins must reveal her mysterious origin and save seven shelters before the last strongholds of civilization collapsed,” Logline reports.
There is a lot here to unpack, so let’s approach it.
The post-apocalyptic avatar series is very intriguing
People, it’s just incredible. There are so much to unpack, but let’s start with the fact that the new avatar has twins! Now in the franchise it’s not quite new. Rock, the avatar avatar before Aang, had a twin – as it was discovered in the recent novel “Treating Rock” – and he was actually much better than his famous brother. But since the twins died as a child, we do not know if they could flex more than one element. Is Raawa, a spirit that allows the avatar to bend all the elements divided between the twins? Can only one double become an avatar? We will find out this soon enough.
Now, obviously, the most intriguing aspect of this new series (and the one that asks to dissect and analyze) is the fact that the show is installed after the collapse of civilization. What the hell happened? We know that Corra has dealt with a lot of events that change in the world, including the opening of spiritual portals that allowed the spirit to start moving into the physical world, but how does it lead to the end of humanity as we know? Was that what she did? Has the world have already headed for the apocalypse, and this is exactly what Corrar can save? After all, the “legend of the Corne” season 4 has already submitted nuclear in the avatar (“Corra” is a discussion for itself), so it is possible that some new villain has finished everything.
I hesitate because the “legend of the corner” was a great show, but also one that suffered from a large number of internet waters and hatred. Thus, this new series seems virtually designed to destroy the reputation and heritage of this show and the bark itself. However, the possibility of a post-apocalyptic show “Avatar” is very intriguing on its own.
We do not know when “Avatar: Seven Hoven” comes out, but in the meantime fans can look forward to “Aang: The Last Airbender”, which gets in the theater on January 30, 2026.
