Kim Kardashian released a Travis Barker-produced cover for Santa’s Baby
Kim Kardashian raises the jam again!
The Kardashian star and the 44-year-old Skims co-founder surprised fans by releasing a cover of the song Eartha Keith“Little Santa” is late on Sunday, December 22, just in time for Christmas.
Kim’s cover is produced by none other than her brother-in-law, Travis Barkerwho is married to Kim’s older sister, Kourtney Kardashian. The song was released via streaming services on Sunday via DTA Records, Barker’s record label, and Kim’s Kimsaprincess, Inc.
Kim also released an accompanying video for her return to music on Sunday. In the dystopian clip, Kim crawls on all fours in a blonde wig with money strewn across the floor, while an eclectic cast of characters appear to be celebrating a not-so-merry Christmas. The video ends with a close-up shot of a creepy Santa holding a video camera, which is revealed to be Macaulay Culkinthe star of the iconic holiday film, Alone at home.

Kim’s Christmas cover comes 13 years after she debuted with ‘Jam (Turn It Up)’, produced by the Grammy-winning music producer A dreamin 2011. At the time, Kim said she was releasing the track for charity and that she would not be releasing a full-length album.

This year, Kim not only returned to the recording studio, but also made great strides in Hollywood. She is currently shooting a film a new legal drama created Ryan Murphy for Hulu. Everything is fairwhich boasts an all-star cast including Sarah Paulson, Nissi Nash, Glenn Close and more, premiering in 2025. Kim will also star in and produce a Netflix-titled comedy The fifth wheel.
“It’s awesome,” Paulson praised Kim’s work ethic in an interview with Diversity in November. “She is incredibly present. She’s fun, she’s playful, she’s alive to the moment. She’s great.”
