Kevin Costner Reacts to ‘Yellowstone’ Finale and Luke Grimes to ‘Feud’
Kevin Costner recently commented on the popular series “Yellowstone” and rumors of a split with her former co-star Luke Grimes.
In a new video, the famous actor shared his thoughts on the finale of the popular drama following his exit from the show due to an alleged conflict with creator Taylor Sheridan.
After leaving the popular TV series, Kevin Costner moved on to his other project, Horizon: An American Saga.

Costner has broken his silence on the Yellowstone Season 5 finale and his feud with co-star Luke Grimes.
On the video received Daily Mailunknown approached the Oscar winner while he was walking in Aspen and asked his thoughts on the final episodes, just weeks after his character John Dutton was killed in a fake suicide.
“I don’t think about (the Yellowstone finale), I don’t think I’ve thought about it, we’ll just let it go,” Costner replied.
The man then doubled down on his relationship with Casey’s on-screen son and actor Dutton Grimes, asking Costner if he had spoken to him, but the 69-year-old movie star said he hadn’t.

Costner was a staple of the show as the manager of the Dutton Ranch in Montana. However, his character was unexpectedly killed off in an assassination plot after he was rumored to have fallen out with Taylor Sheridan and the schedule for his own Horizon film.

Luke Grimes shadowed Kevin Costner

Grimes was candid about how Costner’s departure from the series improved the filming experience for him and other cast members.
“I hope everyone will see that it’s time,” he said of Costner’s departure. Daily Mail. “Honestly, part of Kevin was gone, which meant some of the conflict was gone.”
Grimes continued, “Obviously it wasn’t a lot of fun around … Not pointing fingers, but it was actually the easiest season we’ve shot.”
In a recent interview with Men’s healthGrimes also noted that he hasn’t spoken to Costner since the show ended.

“No, I haven’t spoken to him since. It’s not about any grudges or anything else; he’s just Kevin Costner,” he joked. “He’s a big deal. I have his phone number – I just don’t feel like it’s my place to contact. He can contact me whenever he wants.”
Grimes then told the news outlet that none of the cast members “saw it happen, and obviously there were reports of possible explosions backstage or whatever. But just like in life, man, these things happen, they happen fast, and they’re not predictable.”

Kevin Costner has opened up about his alleged breakup with Taylor Sheridan

In an interview with DeadlineCostner weighed in on his rumored feud with show creator Taylor Sheridan.
The pair reportedly clashed because the actor wanted to say how his character ended. Costner also allegedly faced scheduling conflicts when he began shooting his Western series Horizon: An American Saga.
“I didn’t feel good about it last year because of the way they talked about it. It wasn’t true,” Costner said, referring to the blame he placed on himself for the behind-the-scenes drama.
“I signed a contract for the fifth, sixth and seventh seasons. In February, after two to three months of negotiations, they signed another contract,” he explained further. “They wanted to redo this season, and instead of seasons six and seven, there were 5A and 5B, and maybe we’ll do six. They could not make them. Horizon was placed in the middle, but Yellowstone was the first I fit (Horizon) in the gaps.

He wasn’t happy that his fellow cast members didn’t stick up for him

Costner admitted that what he was saying was “sincere” and that he was “hurt by these (expletive) guys” for the team, “not speaking up for me and letting the crazy stories come out.”
He added that he was “not happy about it” as he spoke further about the situation.
“If you know me well enough, I’ve made Yellowstone my first priority and to hint at anything else would be wrong,” he explained in his chat with Deadline. “I did not initiate any of this. They initiated. They were performing the dance… I don’t know why they didn’t stand up for me.”
The actor was “scared the hell out” of the cast of the series

Denim Richards, whose character Colby was recently killed off in the series, shared that Costner was “scared the hell out” when the actors first met at the table.
“Everybody gets together and (Kevin Costner) walks in. He’s so massive, but so humble,” Richards said New York Post. “Everyone is getting ready to get up from the table, read and go outside. (Costner) said, “I don’t know about you guys, but I’m scared as hell. So why don’t we get together as best we can and make it happen and support each other.”
Richards noted that Costner’s speech caused “the stress to leave the room” and that “it was a beautiful thing.”

He added: “He’s an Oscar-winning legend…whether he was really scared, who knows. But it gave everyone an extra level of confidence that there was no hierarchy.”
