Kevin Costner is reportedly ‘not seriously involved’

The newly divorced singer Jennifer Lopez is the latest female celebrity to be linked to the actor after they were spotted together in Aspen over the holidays.

However, a source close to Kevin Costner said that the actor, who recently turned 70, is enjoying family life and is not in a serious romantic relationship.

Celebrating his 70th birthday, Costner has taken a laid-back approach to life. The father of seven is said to be “in a good place” and “having fun with his family and friends” nearly a year after his divorce from Baumgartner.

Sources close to Costner shared with People magazine that he is “not seriously involved with anyone and not necessarily looking for anything more than that right now.”

Although Costner has been romantically linked to several famous women since his breakup with Baumgartner, including Jewell, Sharon Stone, and Jennifer Lopez, he is reportedly not currently involved in anything serious.

“Kevin is cool, genuine and kind of old school in his thinking. He has a lot of interests and likes to keep busy when he’s in this mode,” the insider added.

The Oscar winner is the father of seven children: Annie, 40; Lily, 38 years old; Joe, 36; Liam, 29; Kayden, 17; Hayesov, 16; and Grace, 14.

During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show last June, Costner addressed rumors of an affair with singer Jewell, strongly denying them.

He explained: “Me and Jewel are friends. We’ve never met.”

The Yellowstone actor emphasized the importance of their friendship, saying, “She’s special and I don’t want — I don’t want these rumors to ruin our friendship because that’s what we have. She is special to me. She’s pretty enough to go out with.”

Costner noted that he and Jewell, along with Emma Watson and other guests, attended a charity event in the British Virgin Islands in November 2023.

During the event, photos of Jewel sitting on Costner’s lap with his arm around her waist went viral, leading many to believe they were dating. However, the actor stated that this is not the case.

“She was someone I just had a wonderful conversation with and with Emma,” he added, mentioning that they all traveled to Richard Branson Island and back together.

After the Jewel rumors were squashed, Costner is rumored to be dating actress Sharon Stone.

The source said InTouch that “sparks flew” between the two at the Governors Awards in November, where they reportedly exchanged numbers.

This was reported by another source Daily Mail that the Hollywood stars had a “flirty” encounter at the event.

Then, in late December, Costner was spotted having drinks with Lopez at Kemo Sabe in Aspen, Colorado.

They were seen talking to Lopez’s group, though it was unclear how much time they spent together.

Before his 70th birthday, Costner shared a heartfelt message on social media, urging his followers to support the victims of the recent wildfires in Los Angeles.

He retweeted a clip from “Jimmy Kimmel Live” expressing his deep sadness for the city, writing, “My heart was so heavy for the city of Los Angeles…a city that so many, myself included, came to represent the American Dream “.

Costner continued, “It’s encouraging to see these stories of hope and kindness and community in the face of such devastation. May we all find ways to help when help is needed.”
