Kesha admits she’s a ‘manifester’

In a recent interview with “On the red carpet”, The 37-year-old “Die Young” singer talked about her hopes and wishes for the coming year.
“In 2025 I’m putting on a yacht and a yacht and I’d like to be on my daddy’s yacht in Italy as soon as possible, baby,” she said before sharing her take on New Year’s resolutions, admitting: “I’m more of a manifester.”
“I’m like a witch who goes into the woods, decides I’m going to manifest, and then spend a year doing Mr.,” Kesha said. “So I have the rulings, but like, a little more b-pure and a little more witchy.”

Kesha’s legal battles with her record label

In October 2014, pop star Kesha filed a civil lawsuit in California against her longtime producer Dr. Luke (Lukasz Gottwald), setting off one of the most high-profile legal battles in music history. The lawsuit alleges sexual assault and battery, sexual harassment, gender-based violence and emotional abuse during their ten-year professional relationship.
Kesha alleged that Dr. Luke drugged her, sexually assaulted her, and constantly emotionally manipulated her throughout their time together. At the center of her lawsuit was a request to release her from her contract with Kemosabe Records, Dr. Luke’s label under Sony Music Entertainment.

In response to Kesha’s allegations, Dr. Luke filed a countersuit in New York, alleging defamation and breach of contract. He claimed that Kesha’s allegations were fabricated in order to secure a more lucrative record deal and damage his reputation.

Birth of #FreeKesha

In 2016, a New York judge dealt a crushing blow to Kesha’s case, denying her request for a preliminary injunction. The decision meant she could not record music outside of her current contract with Dr. Luke and Sony Music Entertainment while the lawsuit unfolded.
