Blue origin makes history with Crew of all women For your next space flight, including some very familiar names. The spacecraft company in America said its 11th human mission will include the host of CBS Gayle King, singer Katie Perry and former journalist Lauren Sanchez – Jeff Bezos’ fiancé, founder of Blue Origin. The rounding of the list of passengers for the NS-31 mission are the former NASA Aisha Bow rocket scientist, Biostronautics Scientist Amanda Nguyen, and the producer of the films Keriana Flynn.

The mission is part of the new Shepard Blue Origin program, which has flew 52 people above the Karman line, the internationally recognized space limit of about 62 miles above the ground.

According to WebsiteAstronauts climb to the space more than three times the speed of sound. Once the line passes, the crew is able to unbutton and float weightlessly before returning to the ground with parachutes.

The flight that will start this spring will mark the first crew of the flight of all women after the independent space flight of Russian engineer Valentina Tereshkova in 1963.

Blue origin has taken a lot of remarkable names above the ground before, including the actor William ShatnerGood morning America host and retired NFL player Michael Fear and Bezos himself.
