Justin Bieber sparked concern among fans after he shared a photo of himself appearing to be smoking a bong.

Now the pop star is on vacation in Aspen, including with his family Hailey Bieber and Baby Jack, which is believed to be where he took the photos.

The images come amid reports that Justin Bieber is planning a music comeback because he “needs the money”.

On Instagram, Bieber shared photos from his vacation in Aspen.

In one of the photos, the singer, strangely dressed in a hat and covered with a blanket, was seen lighting up a bong that fans believed contained marijuana.

He also posted two additional images of himself inhaling and exhaling smoke from a bong.

In the rest of the pictures, the singer was holding an object similar to smoking accessories.

Although marijuana is legal in Colorado, the state where Aspen is located, that hasn’t stopped an avalanche of complaints from supporters criticizing the act.

In the comments section of Bieber’s post, fans were concerned about his bong use, especially since it was shared shortly after reports of marital problems between him and his wife, Hailey.

One wrote: “What a good example for a bad father. Congratulations’, while another asked: ‘You have a baby now and is this what you decided to post?’

A third person noted: “It’s time to grow up and be a father and a husband, no woman wants that for herself.”

“Take care of yourself and your family! Family is the best! There is nothing more important,” said another fan.

Some fans also pointed out that there shouldn’t be any fuss about Bieber smoking weed.

One wrote: “Calm down guys it’s WEED. Legal in Colorado. The equivalent of a beer on vacation.”

Another commented: “So many rude comments can you give him a break? Lol, there’s nothing wrong with weed.”

The photos of Bieber come after reports that he wants to start playing music again in 2025.

According to Daily Mailthe report claims the singer is “demanding money” and is now “looking to work” after canceling the remainder of his 2023 Justice World Tour.

It is claimed that Bieber “still owes” tour company AEG a “significant sum” for canceling the tour and may now be looking to get back to work to settle the debt.

The pop star is also said to have several “other pop star expenses” that need funding.

If Bieber does plan to actively return to music, he will need to hire a new support staff as he recently parted ways with manager Scooter Braun.

Also, any new works won’t be tied to his back catalog, which he sold the rights to for $200 million in 2023.

The singer has already hinted at work on new music, sharing photos in a creative setting over the weekend.

In one of the pictures, Bieber could be seen singing into a microphone with his eyes closed while artist MK.gee was in the background tapping his phone.

Another shot featured a similar setting with both stars, but this time MK.gee looked deeply focused on the creation process.

Adding to the rumors that the singer is set to make a comeback, he was seen singing the lyrics to a new song earlier this month.

The “Baby” hitmaker’s lyrics read, “I’m takin’ it/ You takin’ bait/ I’m shakin’ it/ You’re shakin’ it/ Shakin’ off the hate.”

In addition, a few months before the speculation, MK.gee said The New York Times that he wrote and recorded several songs with the pop star.

In an interview with MK.gee, he praised Bieber, discussing how good their sessions were.

“Everything that comes out of his mouth: it’s pop music,” he told the outlet about Bieber. “You can really do some pretty wild things behind it, just because it represents something.”
