In the complaint, Lively also cited a script planning document from Baldoni’s team at TAG, which mentioned a study of “the proliferation of stories about weaponizing feminism and how people in (Lively’s) circle, like Taylor Swift, were accused of using these tactics to ‘bullying’ in order to get what they want.’
A live fell sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni on Friday, Dec. 20, alleging that his behavior on set caused her “severe emotional distress.” The lawsuit alleges that a meeting was held during production in January 2024 to address Lively’s claims of a “hostile work environment” on set. According to the lawsuit, Lively’s demands for the meeting included “no more showing Blake nude videos or images of women, no more mention of Baldoni’s alleged past ‘pornography addiction,’ no more discussing sexual conquests in front of Blake or others, no further references to the genitalia of the actors and the set group, no more inquiries about Blake’s weight, and no further mention of Blake’s dead father.”
Baldoni’s attorney, Brian Friedman, called Lively’s “absolutely false, outrageous and intentionally obscene” allegations in a statement to usclaiming that Lively sued to “fix her negative reputation” and “reframe the narrative” regarding the film’s production.
He further alleged that the actress made “numerous demands and threats” during filming, including “threatening not to show up on set, threatening not to promote the film, which ultimately led to its termination during distribution when her demands will not be met.”
In a statement to The New York Times in December, Lively said, “I hope my lawsuit will help pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about wrongdoing, and help protect others who may be targeted.”
