Justin Baldoni is reportedly planning to file a new lawsuit against Ryan Reynolds
Baldoni has now called on Disney and Marvel to preserve all documents related to the actor’s Deadpool and The Wolverine movie, which he suspects the character was used to mock him.
This comes after Blake Lively filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, claiming he created a toxic work environment during the filming of their movie It Ends With Us.

Baldoni’s latest move means he’s going all out in his legal battle against Lively, his This Ends With Us co-star.
According to Diversityactor has drawn Marvel president Kevin Feige, Disney CEO Bob Iger and director Tim Miller into his ongoing feud with Lively as he prepares to take issue with her husband Reynolds for allegedly mocking the character Neespool in Deadpool and The Wolverine. “
Baldoni’s attorney, Brian Friedman, sent Feige and Iger a letter on Jan. 7 suspending litigation regarding his client’s “anticipated claims” against Reynolds, Lively and other unnamed parties.

The letter demanded that studio executives retain “all documents related to the development of Nispool’s character” and “communications related to the development, writing and filming of storylines and scenes involving Nispool.”

Baldoni claims that Reynolds used his creative control over the film to smear him because of his feud with his wife.
In Deadpool and the Wolverine, released in July and also starring Hugh Jackman, Reynolds plays the character Nispool, an alternate version of Deadpool.
In the film, Nispool used phrases like “Where in God’s name is the intimacy coordinator?!” and a compliment to Ladypool, played by Lively, for getting “back” into shape after giving birth.
In another instance, when Deadpool pointed out Nispool’s misogyny, he responded, “It’s okay, I identify as a feminist.”

The lines apparently led fans to believe that Nispool’s character was a jab at Baldoni, especially since the character’s remarks closely resemble Lively’s allegations in her sexual harassment lawsuit against him.
Baldoni’s letter also urges the studio to preserve “any and all documents that relate to or reflect an intentional attempt to bully, harass, ridicule, intimidate or mock Baldoni through the character of ‘Nispool’.”

In his Jan. 7 appearance on The Megyn Kelly Show, Friedman commented on Nispool’s character when he questioned why Reynolds would take a comedic spin on his wife’s sexual harassment claims.
“It seems that Ryan Reynolds used his power and influence … on Deadpool and made fun of Justin Baldoni,” Friedman said. Daily Mail.
On the show, Kelly played a clip of Nispool’s character in a bun, which Baldoni has used in the past. The dialogue in the clip seemingly referenced the “Clouds” actor’s penchant for social activism and Lively’s character Ladypool and her pregnancy, prompting Kelly to ask Friedman what he thought about it.
He said: “I think when your wife is sexually harassed, you don’t make fun of Justin Baldoni; you don’t make fun of the situation – you take it very seriously.”

Friedman went on to suggest that Reynolds’ handling of the matter undermines the credibility of his wife’s sexual-harassment lawsuit against Baldoni.
“What you can’t do is make fun of a person and turn it into a joke,” Friedman explained, adding that the proper way Reynolds should have handled the situation would have been to “file a complaint with human resources (and) raise the issue and pursue legal action.” process”.
He continued: “When someone is being sexually harassed, you don’t make fun of it – it’s a serious issue.”

Lively filed a 10-count complaint against Baldoni, alleging that he sexually harassed her on the set of the Colleen Hoover novel and orchestrated a “coordinated effort to destroy her reputation.”
