Season Juju Watkins stopped injury to ACL
Last month, the Watkins season ended when it was taken out of the venue in the first quarter of the NCAA tournament in the second round of USC against Mississippi.
She was later diagnosed with a torn ACL in the right knee and is currently in recovery. According to multiple reports, the standard recovery period for ACL rupture is from nine to 14 months.
As for Watkins’s future, USC head coach Lindsay Gotlib said ESPN that its return terms remain uncertain.
“We don’t know what the Juju will do. Will she take a red shirt? said Gotlyib. “Now it’s not a conversation, but I think we will plunge into how to remain an elite team regardless of the circumstances.”
Wotkins ended his second -year season on average 23.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.4 gear game per game NBC Los -egeles.
